The Dodgers and Giants go into the final weekend of August
tangled in a pennant race with Los Angeles holding a precarious 4.5 game lead.
The Dodgers end the month with three games in San Diego
while the Giants host Central Division leaders Milwaukee for three games at
AT&T Park.
The Dodgers then host Washington, Arizona and San Diego in
three-game sets before making a road trip Sept. 12-21 with games at San Francisco,
Colorado and Chicago.
The Dodgers close the regular season with a six-game home
stand against the Giants and the Rockies.
San Francisco opens September on the road with four against
the Rockies and three games at Detroit.
The Giants then host Arizona and Los Angeles Sept. 9-14 before starting
a nine-game road trip Sept. 15-24 at Arizona, San Diego and Los Angeles.
The Giants end the regular season with a four game series at
home against San Diego.
The Dodgers and Giants meet head-to-head six times in
September in games that will decide the National League West.
